The hidden anatomy of the human being refers to the subtle bodies or energy centres that exist alongside the physical body. These subtle bodies are interconnected and form the basis of our spiritual, mental and emotional selves.
The most commonly recognised subtle bodies are the aura, chakras and meridians. The aura is an electromagnetic field that surrounds the physical body and contains information about a person's physical, mental and emotional state.
Chakras are energy centres located within the body, each associated with a specific aspect of our being, such as physical health, emotions, creativity and intuition. There are seven major chakras, each with its own colour, element and sound.
Meridians are the channels through which our life force or "qi" flows throughout the body, connecting the various organs and systems. Traditional Chinese Medicine recognises twelve main meridians, each corresponding to a different organ.
By working with these subtle bodies, we can achieve greater levels of physical health, emotional harmony and spiritual development, leading to the awakening of dormant innate abilities that connect us with our divine spark and lead us to experience the superior dimensions of nature.
